This box came with a few extras:

It is currently believed that the 1st print of the D&D boxed set was issued without an errata sheet. This sheet came with this set, but it is folded down the middle from top to bottom, suggesting that it was mailed separately. Why fold it at all if it was issued with the set? The errata sheet must have been available by request from TSR. It has the GK logo and is blank on the back.

These copies (and others) were also present with this set. The first image appears on the bottom of page 93 in the 1st print Monster Manual. The second image appears on page 21 of Dragon magazine. They probably appear in other places as well.

===============================

This is also a 1st print, but the cover of Volume 3 is made of a different material. Apparently, the printer ran out of the original cover paper. With the exceptions of the variant cover paper, booklet dimensions, and label dimensions, this boxed set is the same as the one listed above.

My first print boxed set matches TFMs' first entry down to and including the reference sheets.
Mine did not have the correction sheet or other goodies.

TFM - what logo is on the correction sheet from your first print?
Is it a single sheet, unattached to any others?
Is it blank on the back?

Thanks,
Mike

1st print:

My first print boxed set also matches TFM’s first entry with the following exceptions / notes:

Exceptions -

• The correction sheet is present but it is not folded. (The sheet seems to be poorly printed on light paper stock.)

• It does not include the images.

Notes -

• The material of UWA (volume 3) matches the other two books but the staples are not located at the same point on the book.

• Side box label on right side.

• Woodgrain is horizontal.

I added staple imagery to the first print samples above. Mine corresponds with yours. I am a bit puzzled, though. I can't imagine an explanation that accounts for the 'original' third booklet having offset staples and the 'replacement cover' having staples in alignment. You would think it would be the other way around.
