Musings:
Imagine is referred to as the sister publication to the Dragon Magazine in the states. I have noticed several re-printed articles by TSR luminaries first appearing in Dragon. Particularly, are the many Gygax articles. However, the introductory editorial in this issue is the first look at this Gygax effort.
Also important to gaming in UK at the time, are the various fanzines as they were widely referred to. In each issue of IMAGINE, there is an entire section featuring and dissecting various fanzines. I will attempt to add the titles in each of these headings for research and comparison to our lists in the Fanzine Research Forums.
Fanzines mentioned:
War Machine
Wargame News
20 years On (postal gaming)
Astradyne 57 (postal gaming zine)
Cerebo 16 (not gaming)
Acolyte 43
British Fantasy Newsletter
Dragonlords 14
Greatest hits 104 (diplomacy) _________________
