I could use some help identifying/authenticating this piece.
First let me apologize for starting a new thread - I don't know your hobby at all, and didn't want to hi-jack someone else's thread. But I assure you that this isn't spam.
Ok, so here's the story:
I collect bad amateur art. Today I looked up at one of my favorite pieces and for the first time thought "I should Google this Alex Nuckols guy", and so I ended up here.
Here's the info on the piece: It's oil on canvas, roughly 19x13. It's titled "Safety Is In The Lord" and depicts a trucker on a narrow mountain road being guided by Jesus. The truck has multiple license plates with bible passages for license numbers. It is signed "Alex Nuckols '73" It was found a few years ago in a small shop in Sacramento, CA
It's really quite bad, so I presume that IF it's the same Alex Nuckols, it's an early piece.
Anyone have any Nuckols bio information, or a sampling of his work so I can search for comparable features? A good pic of his signature would be VERY helpful.

Thanks for giving it a shot here. He did a bunch of illustrations for St Regis Press products officially licensed by TSR, makers of the Dungeons and Dragons.
