[I thought there might be of some interest in these given the Old School TSR angle... as well as the presence of work by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.]
This week I'm auctioning off a near complete collection of TSR's Little Wars magazine. Little Wars filled the whole created in the TSR product line when The Strategic Review was rolled into Dragon Magazine in the mid-1970s.
The following issues of Little Wars are on sale (1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12) and can be found in individual auctions here:
There are articles in these issues that cover various aspects of miniature and wargaming with occasional articles about Diplomacy, Fight in the Skies, Kingmaker, & Tractics. Each issue is described in detail in the auction listings. A few early issues feature articles by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.
Issue #7 Contains a war game designed (and illustrated) by Tom Wham. Issue # 9 contains a rules set for a miniatures game called Scalplock which deals with Indian Fighting and Buckskin Guerilla Skirmishing in Revolutionary War era America.
