No pictures yet. I was planning on doing a section for collectors and their collections on the Tome (still have the cool burntwire pictures sitting in my inbox). But the work, man. I'll try to shoot a photo tomorrow and post it here. _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

Yep, pretty well looks like a very well stocked game shop. Weird feeling knowing we have as much stuff in our collections as they do in some game shops.

Remember when we were young'ns and we were in the store looking at all that D&D and thinking how awesome it would be to own all of it?
Being a completist is just plain sick (and stupid). But I can't help myself, too addicted already... must buy more... I want it all! _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

I've counted them. Including Magazines it's a grand total of 906 individual items. That means next year I'm gonna hit the thousand! _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

Gosh. I never even counted mine. I doubt it is even that high but it sure did help to buy out a bunch of stuff from The Compleat Strategist. I think I bought some 250+ items from them in one shot.

The biggest lot I ever bought was a GREYHAWK lot. It was 26 items and I paid 155 Euros. That has been one of my best buys so far. I know Chris buys many lots, too, but I find it tough as the shipping from U.S. is high and in Europe there are few such auctions. _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

I hear ya. Imagine the look on the face of the store manager when I piled up several stacks of his old old used stock.....he seemed very skeptical as if I was about to make a ton of money off of him.
I got it all for like $400. He threw in Visigoth and Starstone for free because they were so old looking. Truth be told the original plastic was a dirty mess but the contents were EX

Well. You need to know your shipping
I'll try at least to get a few modules/books in one go from each seller to save on shipping (stuff as much as possible in a global priority envelope *hehe*). _________________ *Forgotten Realms update daemon*

Ok, I suppose it's time to have a peek into my lair too...
The french RPG are stored elsewhere for the moment, I have to free the upper shelf for them, it's used by sci-fi books at that time.

It's quite tight, but there are about 700-800 items just there, not bad for a beginning
I would say there's a dozen of items I've only seen once on ebay in 5 years.
Furhtermore, nearly all the TSR boxes (including the white box) and modules are sealed, you know I've got that plastic fetish problem...

This looks just great! And it's got the "Dungeon" feeling, too. The plastic fetish is quite costly. I am luckily not infected. I guess the only items in my collection that will stay in the shrinkwrap forever are the anniversary combos and H1.
I had planned on doing a little section for us brave collectors who risk making a fool of themselves by posting pistures of their collections. I still have nice photos from the brothers burnt sitting in my inbox.
Which priority shall this expansion have? _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.
keep in mind they dont have access to this forum. If they agree to letting you post them let them do so in the open forum and I will move my posts concerning my lair over there. I love this aspect of the site and will concur with Christophe concerning priorities.....I am not one in position to make assertions at all. But I am ready to kick ass on the Gems section when you are.
