Inky’s inklings: My copy has a pagination error; two copies of page 9/10 appear in a row. No pages are missing. The erroneous ascription of the DGUTS conclusion to Perren & Gygax appears in the table of contents only; the actual article on page 16 is correctly credited to David Arneson & Gary Gygax. This installment of DGUTS continues the Optional Rules, including… “experience”.

As noted in August issue, I finally found these two missing issues.

My copy does not have the additional page 9/10. The authorship error is indentical. And my cover has a slight anomoly. Could be printing error or mishandling by owners. There are some washed out ink spots below right of the tank.

The other item I would like to add is the Castle & Crusades society advertisement is the same as previous issues August and July 1971 (see below) but is smaller in scale and includes the additional text...."SPECIAL! Read all of the additions, changes, and designer notes on CHAINMAIL in DOMESDAY BOOK!!"
