No, but it's pretty cool! I don't recognize it though and I doubt it's from any "common" rulebook or module. Mainly because I think the "Chess" theme would have stuck in my brain and I would recognize it if I'd seen it before.

Its got me stumped as well. I have a good memory for these sorts of things if I have owned the books. If it was published, it could be from 2e items. Ralf is a hawk at remembering if he has seen them in his extensive 2e collection.

This was the Jeff Easley illustration for Boccob from Dragon #70. I should have bid higher.
