Fred Fields
Wrap around cover for the Forgotten Realms book "Elfshadow" as well as the cover of "Code of the Harpers" and its full color interior piece.
Oils on heavy board (not paper based or masonite but some type of "other" material)
I missed out on that painting of the leaping ninja flying down on the flying carpet painting by 12 hours and got a handful of other FF paintings instead. This is a very large piece and he wanted to trim it down and remove the left side and I had to tell him not to do so. It's one of 2 wrap-arounds of his that I got and the other features some characters that I had not seen printed anywhere before... He wanted to trim that one as well In retrospect, I sort of wish I had this one trimmed but in the long run it's probably better to keep it intact I'm glad that I was able to get a number of those pieces during his firesale as I have a feeling we will never see anything like that occur again...
