Everything is new and we definitely need input. Are there problems with navigation? Is something confusing or could it work better? Is one of the links incorrect or some bit of info wrong?
How can things work better?
Site bugs?
Do you just want to point out something that you find cool?

Yes, something cool..This Site
Forums are long, so just wondering if letters will be combined, especially for those that don't have any products mention at this time.
((Wow...just really going through these forums was cool, and thats only for the little bit.
But these do load a bit slow, so if there is a way..looking at you the computer wizards..to help the forums not be boggy, then it would be appreciated))
That is all :) ((I mean it this time..no really I have to go eat..))

Enter into the forum directory from the main ToT page to get the abbreviated version of the forum page. Otherwise, they are loooong because there is lots of content to fill in.
Eventually, we can figure out ways to organize them a bit more as we get a better understanding of how they are used in general.
The load times are another matter. I wonder if this is a continuous issue or temporary situation. They load fairly reasonably for me, but I am on cable modem. _________________

Its because I'm new, but I think arranging by genre would be better than arranging by company, or, at least, on the surface. Within each genre could be the "alphabet." Maybe a way to go like Heroic Worlds uses, with some modifications to cover things that didn't really exist then? I dunno. Usually, when I'm interested in something, I'm interested in everything related to it...

We talked about genre organization, but it conflicted with the more important organizing principles of recognition and representation. The main goal of the forums aside from providing a platform for independent research is the presentation and preservation of the people who created these materials. Organization by publisher speaks well of the creativity of the authors and artists working together. Many of these personalities were and are talented in more than one area. Organizing by publisher shows us all just how multidimensional these companies and people were, are and continue to be. Each item from each publisher represents a point time where a chemistry between individuals existed. Some worked out, some didn't, but for one moment, at least, they came together to say something.
In the future, once this material is archived, it will be a simple matter to create link-pages which can organize the material as you suggest. For example, I really look forward to seeing the wargames in the forums organized by period, but that will be an archive prerogative. _________________ "This is cool."

actually this has just done the same thing to me this morning....asked me to log in again....
A few questions: Is your browser set to delete cookies when it is closed? Which one are you using btw? Do you experience this problem with other bulletin boards, too? Finally, does anyone else experience this problem? _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

TSR did the Buck Rogers stuff.
Buck Rogers is listed under the TSR Research Forums - Other Game Systems.
I know . . . it can be confusing as there are a lot of categories! But it is intended to keep things catalogued and easily found - not lost in threads that have dozens of posts after the first. _________________ "Ah, Blackadder. Started talking to yourself, I see."

For the Deaths Edge Games reprints of the Arcanum stuff would that go under the Bard Games listing or would you enter the imfo under the "E" sub web? Looks like I've gotta figure out how to use my scanner and get some images out to you folks.

Reprints would go under the publisher who did the reprint, Death's Edge Games would be under "D" in the RPG section. I'll add it. _________________ "This is cool."

Hi Guys
how do you get the pictures up, I would like to add a bunch to the Ral Partha Forums (AD&D minis) and I cannot host the pics myself? _________________ Games can get you through times of no money but money can not get you through times of no games.
