"A disaster beyond your wildest imagination will occur" seems to be the only answer given to us (Americans) by the Govt on just about every major issue lately if we don't comply?
What if we don't give Wall Street 700B?
What if we don't invade Iraq?
What if we kick out all the illegals and/or secure the border?
No plan B or even a plan C for that matter...
Also troubling is the staggering lack of accountability everywhere...
It almost seems (to me) as if were in some crazy 1984 scenario where were put into categories ("left wing liberals" and "right wing conservatives" for instance) and pitted against one another over BS issues while some machiavellian entity/s slowly undermine us... Maybe not slowly anymore.

I'd say it is more of a Rove-ian political device more than anything. Sadly, provoking the larger audience with fear has been very effective device. _________________
