Hey Guys,
I found a thrift store grab bag recently that had a couple of intact AD&D modules, etc., and it also contained this...
It doesn't appear to be directly related to any of the modules. I'm hoping you guys can help me track down what it's from. The counter sheet has a 1992 TSR copyright.
My guess is that this will be an easy one for you folks!

Looks like 1st Quest.
Thank you.
First Quest has a listing on BoardGameGeek. I had a flip through their pictures and didn't see anything like the counter sheets. That's certainly not definitive, though. Perhaps nobody has gotten around to uploading them.
I'd be curious to see if there are any other ideas of where these might be from...
Checking through my archived scans . . . It isn't with any of the First Quest pictures I have.
Are you sure there isn't a product code somewhere on that sheet? I don't see one in the pic . . . what about the other side. It should read something like "4 numbers" XXX "4 numbers".
edit
Here is a pic of the First Quest contents. (Minus the dice). I believe it is complete . . . though I compared it to another pic I had which has the screen . . . in any case, I don't see the cardboard counters in any of them or on the bottom box listing.

The art I have says 1st Quest and matches up with that blue elemental guy (it's a panel of several monsters/characters). It's possible that they re-used it like clip art. I don't own the product, just too much art

Ah . . . the Haunted Tower. That's one of the pages I designed way back. And I still didn't remember. Here is the link to the Tome page (click to enlarge image at the bottom).

Mystery solved!
I dunno about that It gets pretty hairy with the art...
I find that a lot of times I have something and it's for some product but then you know it's also on another product. It gets more confusing when you read the notes on the art or talk to the artist cause in many cases they don't jive with the product the art was supposedly done for. I subscribe to my "clip-art" statement above and believe that this art was used in more than one product at least. Not to mention that Parkinson cover painting... was that the only time that piece was used, "mystery solved"? The same goes for a lot of interiors. The more I get (and that's a lot) the more I'm finding some problems.
Also, the amount of art that was produced for TSR is vastly underestimated imo. V A S T L Y
I'm sure you've all seen it but just in case, I have an art thread on Acaeum and there's some decent stuff there information wise. Worth checking out and moreso in the future

Put it there cause I want to move some of it and the bigger crowd... also want a consolidated thread for my goods! Scribe, you suck for getting that Al Quadim painting before me. When I was at Freds he said that you talked to him within an hour before me...
Ta ta!
