Games News was published by a start up company Associates International Incorporated, AII. Sounds like some kind of super business! Dana Lombardy, Gerald Swick (ex-Steven Jackson Marketing Director) and Ann Jaffe (who had several game modules published by Mayfair Games) were involved in this magazine. They supposedly handed out 10,000 free copies of the first issue and I don't think they lasted to long after that! Their motto was "News you can use". There is also a noticeable explosion in super corp names as publishers during this period and this mags pub is no different.
