It provides a complete module for play of ADVANCED DUNGEONS & DRAGONS™ and it can be used alone
or as the first of a three-part expedition adventure which also employs
DUNGEON MODULE G2 (GLACIAL RIFT OF THE FROST GIANT JARL)
and DUNGEON MODULE G3 (HALL OF THE FIRE GIANT KING)."
1st Printing: The first printing has the TSR lizard logo on the front cover.

2nd Printing:
The second printing has the TSR wizard logo and a black star-shaped icon with the words
'Official D&D Tournament Module used at ORIGINS '78' on the cover.

The third printing has the TSR wizard logo on the cover.
The black star-shaped icon is removed. On the back cover the module C1 is advertised. Since C1 was released in 1980,
we assume the year of the third printing was 1980, too.
UK Games Workshop Printing:
The UK Games Workshop printing has the TSR wizard logo and a additionally the Games Workshop logo on the cover.

Silver Anniversary Printing:
This printing is part of the Silver Anniversary Boxed Set.
It is sometimes sold alone when the contents of the boxed set are sold individually. This printing can easily
be recognized by use of the Silver Anniversary logo:
