Metro Detroit Gamers (MDG) is actually more of a gaming club around the greater Detroit area in Michigan. MDG is best known for hosting two of the more significant gaming conventions in the US in the late 1970's largely due to TSR's profile at these conventions. These conventions were called Wintercon and Michicon respectively. Metro Detroit Gamers also organized as a bit of a publisher, producing some of their convention tournament modules for sale at the conventions. Amongst these titles are some of the better known TSR titles that were later published by TSR in the formats we all recognize. Most of these titles are amazingly collectible, highly sought after by the most enthusiastic collectors at all ends of the hobby.
