I figure that the Classic D&D pages need one more section, which would be International editions. This will probably prove to be a larger task than I imagine - I don't even know the extent of different versions from other countries that are out there.
Nevertheless, it's something that I feel should be developed . . . though it may take quite some time. Unlike the current archive pages which I was able to complete largerly on my own (with some key input from various sources - all of which is greatly appreciated!), the International Editions will have to rely exclusively on contributions to the Tome.
To begin with . . . what International versions are out there????
Feel free to post your list here. It doesn't have to be complete, just relay what you know for certain exists. The next step would be to submit the info the our Research Forums. I have created a link:
Ideally, this will contain the info for our Standard Research Format and include a large picture of the front cover. I prefer back cover pics as well, but I need at least the front. Also, PLEASE make a distinction between cover artist and interior artist(s) if possible.
Include other pertinent details as befits the item. For instance, some international editions reword the title and have different cover art - make sure you mention in these cases what module it is . . .
As I mentioned, I anticipate this taking some time to complete. First, a significant amount of research will need to be contributed and secondly, I will have to design the pages afterword . . .
Feel free to post any questions or tidbits of info on this thread as well as letting me know where to get started . . . _________________ "Ah, Blackadder. Started talking to yourself, I see."

Cool! But I just want to clarify that I am only interested in D&D and not Advanced D&D. I mention it because you added the (1E) .
Others may be interested in Advanced, but I'm only handling the "Classic" Basic/Expert/Companion/Masters/Immortals and 90's (Hollow World, Thunder Rift, etc.) items. _________________ "Ah, Blackadder. Started talking to yourself, I see."

In the interests of keeping these items divided by country, I have created several threads on the International Editions Subforum Here
All Classic D&D items can be posted in any order by the country they are from.
We create new categories if needed - there is an "other", but if one country has many different items and new thead can be created for them.
What about Canada? Are there enough/any Canadian editions to warrant a thread? I assume this would be for French Canadian editions as I imagine TSR just sold the same U.S. items in Canada . . . (unless there are exceptions, of course . . . ) _________________ "Ah, Blackadder. Started talking to yourself, I see."
