... is called New York Surprise. I've found it in a book and nowhere else. It's a very special drink with a very special taste. Great for warm summer nights (like tonight), but works also fine in the winter. I recommend it heartily. Here's how I make it:
6 cl fine Bourbon (I use Jim Beam Black Label)
6 cl juice from the passion fruit
1 cl fresh lemon juice
1 cl Grenadine
splash of Angostura bitter
Shake everything on ice for about 20 seconds, then strain into a whiskey tumbler with ice. Add a slice of lemon if you wish.
Now that you know mine, what is your favorite drink? _________________ Tome of Treasures - #1 resource for collectible role-playing games.

Today is my birthday and I had coffee with dinner. My drinking days are pretty much over. In my prime I was strictly a Budweiser and vodka man. Oh sure, the occasional Mescal, but that was mostly for the worm anyhow. -Tom

Ya, Happy Birthday Tom!
My undergrad years were probably my big drinking years but my beer of choice is still Labatt Ice or Guinness. A smaller brewery in Quebec, St Ambrose, also does a really nice oatmeal stout. I'm also a vodka guy too sometimes go through long island iced tea cravings. But my heavy drinking days are long gone too.

Lately my favorite poisons have been (in no particular order)
Vodka Martini (sweet or dry)
Cognac
Bourbons (preferably small batch - Elija Craig and Eagle Reserve)
Very "hoppy" Beers and Ales (after all Ben Franklin was once quoted "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!)

Favorite mixed drink is a very cold, very dry martini, preferably with Hendrick's gin.
Just got introduced to a phenomenal whisky (big fan of whisky): Macallan's 1851 Inspiration. Far too beautiful to drink...but worth it. A true work of art! _________________ Let mirth prevail!
