I thought this was an interesting book too. I gave it a good read last year after finding one in a local used bookstore. Lots of new reptilian races.

Do you know if the other books like Bireme or Arden are good books as well?

I don't have Bireme, but Arden is not as thorough, which is no surprise given that it's a 126 pages shorter! But, to be fair, the two are completely different animals, like apples and oranges. Arden's more map oriented while Saurians is more creature/culture oriented.
