All,

First I want to apologize for my total inactivity over the last 10 months or so. I believe in this project and want to continue to help, however other issues have come into my life.

The night before Thanksgiving last year I started a relationship with someone, TerryAnn. She has become my life and my love. At 8:26pm on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at the tender age of 50, I became a father. Seraphina weighed 7 lbs, 6 ozs and was 19 and 1/4 inches long. It was an experience I shall always treasure. TerryAnn was just wonderful and mom and the baby are doing well.

Those of you who are fathers already, you know the emotions I'm going through. Those who are not, I hope you have the opportunity to experience it. To the females in the group, I can't presume to know what you go through, but surely some of it must be similar. The emotional part that is, certainly not the physical. Being there for the birth of Seraphina was something I wouldn't trade for the world.

Hope to get back to participation soon.
